BLOG generation

I've been browsing through some friendster blogs for sometime and couldn't help but feel arghh..a bit depressed and a little angry!. The themes are pretty much similar and oh so monotonous. It's all about love -unrequited, lost yet being a little hopeful and more of this self-declarations of "I can do this!" or worse "I'm scarred, yet now reborn!" Come to think of it, these are blogs of my friends and acquaintances (sorry, guys!) so i couldn't help but pity myself that I belong to this same clique! God, is this all this generation is about? I mean, none of us is truly happy? Is blogging a place for all these pathetic hopefuls who have nobody to care abouty their shit except for somebody to chance upon their blogs and leave a comment if they feel like it?

It's a big, big lonely planet indeed.

This is one of my fondest memories of college. I almost forgot about this until one of my friends submitted this pic in Friendster. We truly redefined cheerleading in UPV!
